Balkan Treat Box

Wyd? We're over the hill (not The Hill, we'll never get over that) here for our 40th episode of #CarryoutComedy, so we decided to mark the occasion by getting something to make us feel young again, and chose Balkan Treat Box (or BTB, as the cool kids say. If you don't call it that, it doesn't mean you're not cool, but you're cool if you do, soooo). We ordered online (their online ordering is fast, simple, and actually powered by toast), hopped in the spaceship, and descended upon their location in Webster Groves (they also have a food truck), ready to extract our payload. “WHAT'S IN THE BOX!?!?” No need to worry about Se7en, Brad Pitt, cuz our order was Gluten Free; we went with the Pljeskavica (Grilled Balkan Burger stuffed with cheese, kajmak, ajvar, somun), a side of cabbage salad, chips, pickles, and San Pellegrino Aranciata to drink (you know, that soda where you have to peel the foil off the top in order to get to the tab, it is so unnecessary, yet, somehow, it makes the drink taste wayyyy better). We thoroughly enjoyed all of the food, it really did make us feel healthy and young again. Thanks for a great meal, we can't wait to make another visit soon. Peace!
