Taco Circus

Come one, come all, and step right up for the Greatest Show on Earth, as we review Taco Circus for our 41st installment of #CarryoutComedy! Located on Southwest Avenue (right down the street from Don Brown “at the entrance to the Hill”), this Austin-style Mexican restaurant is a place we are thrilled to finally try for this segment. We called in our order (or thought we did, we'll get there!), and went with 4 street tacos (2 Al Pastor + 1 Chicken Al Carbon + 1 Pork Steak Carnitas), and a house margarita. The journey there was ominous, but uneventful; a storm was on the horizon. We parked and were walking up when siren lights went off to our left, initial reaction was that we had prob done something wrong (per usual), so instead of bolting and looking guilty, we decided to see what the issue was, while channeling our spirit animal (which is the penguins from the movie Madagascar). The window rolled down, a lady parking officer asked us if the taco place was good, we said “yep”, and quickly hurried inside (it was like a scene out of Bad Boys, with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence). We went to the bar to pickup our order, they couldn't find it, so we had to wait a couple of minutes, which was cool, because we had to beat the heat, and we got a free margarita out of it, too. The food was amazing (especially the pork steak carnitas), great service, what a circus! Peace!
