BLK MKT Eats
Henlo frens! No, not pupper, but supper is the topic, for what is somehow our 42nd episode of #CarryoutComedy here @STLTonite. This week, we decided to try something, that's well, taken us too long to get to for some reason (not because the Police impound lot is down the block), and that is BLK MKT Eats on S. Vandeventer, right across the street from SLU's campus. To order, we navigated to their online menu (powered by Square, an STL company), which is very easy to order from, BTW, and fun to look at, as well; we had to go with a sushi burrito, and landed on the Sushi-me Rollin' (Hawaiian-style ahi tuna, avocado, wasabi slaw, english cucmber, pickled ginger, tempura crunch, green onions, eel sauce, wrapped in white rice & nori), with a Cane Cola from Pucks Beverage Company (located in Hoboken NJ, so, not an STL company). We arrived to pickup our order, waited in the order line for a bit, an employee realized, and politely informed us we could skip to the register if simply picking up (“simply picking up”? Have you met us!?!?). Anyways, we were vibing to Pursuit of Happiness by Kid Cudi, and luckily, sushi, much like revenge, is a dish best served cold. The burrito was amazing, 10/10, love that it comes in pneumatic form (even if our bank won't), and that you can break it in half like a Kit-Kat bar. Can't wait to get back and try the sushi nachos and poke bowls, it won't be long. Peace!
