Blues Fired Pizza
What's crackalackin'? Seriously, what is it? We'd like to know. Regardless (or irregardless, if you feel like being extra), dis is our 43rd edition of #CarryoutComedy; we really are trucking along here, so we decided to get pizza at one of our favorite food trucks in town, Blues Fired Pizza! Located in the hospital parking lot off of Big Bend and Kirkwood Road (Lindbergh Blvd for people outside of Kirkwood. What's the deal with that? We like to imagine Charles just flew over that part, that's the real Spirit of St. Louis), this mobile food truck also has a brick and mortar drive thru/pickup window (aka the “Pizza Shack”) that makes for smooth transactions. We placed our order online (FYI they use a website called StreetFoodFinder, so you can see if they have a food truck in your area), and zipped over to pick it up, as the wood fired brick oven takes under 150 seconds at 800 degrees to cook dat za. We went with the Deluxe Pizza (tomato sauce + pepperoni + sausage + red onion + green pepper + mushroom + mozzarella), and it was stellar as always, 5 stars. Next time you're craving pizza, think Let's Go Blues (Fired Pizza). Peace!
