Pappy’s Smokehouse

Welcome back! We are down, but not out, for another chapter of #CarryoutComedy, so we decided to lean on a hometown favorite to get us through the smoke, Pappy's Smokehouse (um, yeah, we got a taste last week, but this week we wanted the whole thing) on Olive St! As previously established, smokehouses are one of a comedian's favorite places to go, because they combine two of our favorite things, smoke and houses. How did smokehouses get started, you ask (we're always here to answer your BBQ FAQ's)? Well, back in the day, some guy got one-upped by his friend's new BBQ pit, and was so distraught, that he had no other choice, but to turn his house into one (Pappy's got us out here blowing smoke)! Anywho, we placed our order online, but you can also just walk up and place your order, too, you may have to wait in a line, though (we waited in that line for a bit, just to see what it was like, not because we thought it was the pickup line, or anything like that). For our order we went with a full rack of ribs + fries (crinkle-cut), with two sauces (original, and sweet baby jane) that were more than enough portion-wise. The food was phenomenal, as always, hard to lose with Waino. Peace!
