Charlie Gitto’s on The Hill

Happy Election Day St. Louis (no joke, primary municipal elections typically have low turnout, meaning your vote matters more), and thank you for joining us for Episode 14 of #CarryoutComedy! We gotta admit, it's kind of embarrassing that we have been running with this food segment for so long and have yet to make it to The Hill, so this week we decided to stop by Charlie Gitto's on Shaw Avenue off of Kingshighway. We did carryout, but they also have dine in available now, in case you want to go and enjoy their SPACE. For our order we went with toasted ravioli (we were craving it after making that TikTok) and some rigatoni with sausage. Everything was amazing, 10/10 fine dining carry-out experience, even the bag was fancy, with the reinforced plastic on the inside of the handle (got hot sauce in my bag, swag). The curbside carry-out process was incredibly fast and convenient, the hardest part of the whole ordeal was probably having to drive past all of the great places on our way out; Zia's, Milo's Bocce Garden, and Missouri Bakery to name a few (Ok, fine. Not proud of this, but, we might maybe have pulled up to Guido's first, and had to get out of the car before realizing we had the wrong G spot). Anyways, we're super appreciative of all of the extra work that has been done to accommodate all of your customers during the pandemic, and can't wait to come out and see you again, in person, after we get the vaccine. Peace!
