Chicken Out
Howdy y'all, and thanks for departing with us on yet another adventure into the great unknown, that some call, St. Louis, MO! Chapter 5 of Carry-out Comedy brought us to Chicken Out, a new place from the group that gave the STL area both Sugarfire, and Hi Pointe Drive-In (they just bought the Good Burger Car, too. That was a great movie, and All That was a great show. So was Kenan and Kel, and pretty much any show on Snick, now that we think about it). Sorry for spacing out, this space is on the corner of Delmar and Skinker in the Loop, right next to the Moonrise Hotel (that's a great RTB for anyone that likes those sorts of spots. BTW, an RTB is what the cool kids call Rooftop Bars, don't make us tell you again!) We peeped the menu and went with The Spicy Chicken Out (Nashville hot chicken), mac and cheese, cheddar sauce, and fries. It was definitely spicy so we needed a Fitz's Root Beer to cool off, and add to the Loop vibe, of course. The website and restaurant were easy to navigate, with plenty of options for ordering. We really enjoyed all of the food, and the entire experience; very fast casual. Will def be back soon to try the rest of the menu (in addition to saying hello to our friend, Cluck Berry). So don't chicken out, no wait, do Chicken Out. Let us try that again. Don't linger, get a chicken finger, and when in doubt, Chicken Out. Peace!
