Grace Meat + Three
Happy New Year everyone, and welcome back for episode 6 of Carry-out Comedy! For this venture, we decided to enter the Grove district and try Grace Meat + Three (the title having math in it makes it universal, and thus, in line with our space theme here). The location is right on the corner of Manchester and Tower Grove Ave, which is a stellar place to orbit around while you wait for your order. Speaking of ordering, we checked out the menu online and placed our order there, too. For pickup purposes, as patrons, we proceeded to promptly parallel park, and patiently prepare to possess our perfect platter, when permitted, peacefully + pleasantly (In other words, we parked on the Tower Grove side, where the Chicken + Fish window is, and took pictures of the area before getting our food). For this occasion, we decided on The Sandwich with hot + spicy catfish, Grace Fries with queso, and a To Go Rum Lemonade. This is our first time reviewing seafood (yes, St. Louis has a great seafood scene), and tbh, it is going to be very difficult to top this. The catfish was, in a word, heavenly (that's the good word); it paired well with the Grace Fries and queso, while the Rum Lemonade was a great thyme (key ingredient joke). Everything was flawless, the hardest part of the whole ordeal was deciding on what to eat, the menu is just too fun to look at (we had to pick something so we made a promise, to ourselves, to come back ASAP for the chicken + waffles). We could write about this place forever but time is relative so we must depart. Peace!
