Pie Guy
Do you like pizza? Do you like having an all around good time? Then we crust you'll be ready to party with us for our next episode of #CarryoutComedy! Comedy and Pizza (especially New York Style) go hand in hand, so this week we decided to visit a joint we have been meaning to try for some time now, and happy to finally make it out to, Pie Guy Pizza in The Grove! We found it very quick and easy to place our order online, but you can also just walk up to their window and place it there, too (Pro Tip: the door on the left side of the walk-up window is the entrance, while the door on the right side of the building is employee's only. This didn't happen to us or anything, but if you aren't paying attention, or are on your phone or something, you can easily walk down that little alley, right through the employee door, and find yourself smack dab in the middle of a kitchen preparing your meal. It's not as meta as it sounds). Back to reality, if you for some reason (please do tell), happen to find yourself on a Don Quixotic quest to eat 40 pizzas in 30 days, we recommend not coming here; these guys serve a big pie and aren't shy with the toppings. That's really the only scenario we could think of in which you should not come here if you are craving pizza. We really enjoyed our 18” pepperoni pizza and Caesar salad, and can't wait to come back for another slice. This is a great place owned by some great people that care a lot about feeding the people here. Go check them out and tell them who sent ya. Peace!
