Sando Shack and Tropical Moose
Top of the evening to you, and welcome back for another (lost count) edition of #CarryoutComedy! For this week's installment, we decided to branch out, and visit our 1st Food Truck (Sando Shack) and Snowcone Stand (Tropical Moose) by making a trip to the Kirkwood Farmer's Market. For folks in Kirkwood, the opening of Tropical Moose is usually the mark of the beginning of summer; however, this year, it marked the last day before the beginning of a week of rain, so let that be an omen for you. Nonetheless, as they say, early May showers bring late May flowers, and the Pilgrims don't need to be here until Thanksgiving anyways (at least we think that's what they say. History was written by the Victors, and we don't know anybody by that name). Back to the present, we got the Sweet and Spicy Chicken Katsu Sando + Hawaiian Kettle Chips + 2 Snowcones (1 Sour Cherry w/ Nerds, 1 Tiger Blood). Food trucks and snow cone stands are very easy to order from, so we won't drag you through that process any more than we were. The food was amazing, definitely glad we were finally able to try the sandos, our only real issue was in choosing the right snow cone. Luckily, this year, the menu is broken up between the classics, the combos, and the fun ones, to help speed up the selection time, of course. Anyways, summer will be here, eventually, but we were glad to at least get a glimpse of it last week, if even for a day. You can keep up with future events for both businesses on their social media feeds, we certainly will be. That's all we have for now, though. Peace!
