Trainwreck Saloon
What's kickin', little chicken? No we aren't Raising Canes, but we are praising trains here for our 28th episode of #CarryoutComedy! This week we decided to stop by one of our favorite bars/restaurants in the STL area, the oldest continually operating tavern in the county, Trainwreck Saloon in Rock Hill (they also have a location in Westport Plaza, right down the sidewalk from the Funny Bone Comedy Club; legend has it you are what you eat, so if you're a comic, it's best to get Trainwreck after your set, not before). Back to reality, we called in our order because we know the menu well, but you can also very easily place it online, their website has a rustic feel so it's def worth checking out. Our go-to to-go order is the Cheddar Bacon Burger Basket, with spicy fries, but they also have some unique options on the menu like Wreck Wings, and Bison burgers (grass-fed bison raised in Ste. Genevieve, MO), too. The food is always amazing, and it's great to see the restaurant opening back up again so that we can eat in a place from 1890, 40 years older than Rock Hill itself! Thank you so much for having us for a great meal, we'll def be back soon to the Trainwreck Saloon, and if we're feeling loose, we may just go eat in the caboose (there's a dining room in it). Peace!
